FULL OF HISTORIC CHARM AND SCENIC WONDER

FANTASY’s GREAT GASPE TOUR OFFERS the experience of life-in-the-old-world-cities of Quebec and the delight of tranquil fishing villages along the St Lawrence …to the bewildering coast of Maine. Our journey begins in magnificent Ottawa and travels through Montreal and in to Quebec City where two cities are joined by an exhilarating ride on the glass Funicular. Experience a bird’s eye view as the harbor and the colorful shops of Old Town transport us to ‘High Town’ where we explore Frontenac Hotel. Poised along the rugged cliff, and famously known for its beautiful rooms, astonishing vistas and gourmet food … the Frontenac is a sight to be treasured before escaping to the Gaspésie Peninsula. Here beauty abounds, with mountains falling into the sea and brilliantly colored homes dot the landscape. A world of natural beauty unfolds as we travel into this splendor …visiting Forillon National Park, Canada’s crown jewel, for a taste of the unhurried pace of the Gaspésie life.

We return to the US via the picturesque village of St Andrew’s by the Sea where high tea is served and we visit Ministers Island - a geographical novelty accessible at low tide by a wide gravel bar. Lastly we travel the ‘down east’ of coastal Maine where seascapes and cityscapes blend harmoniously in the historic coastal port of Portland. Highlighted in continual exposure to a worldly culture and filled with extraordinary marvel – Fantasy’s Great Gaspé is a uniquely eastern adventure!

Combine this tour with Autumn in New England, 31 Day Canadian Maritimes or 48 Day Canadian Maritimes.
