"Old World" Spanish Flair
Sure ya’ll have heard the saying that “everything is bigger and better in Texas.” We have put together a rally that will show you San Antonio from the inside out! This little slice of heaven truly captures the spirit of Texas and its many sounds and flavors of Native Americans, Old Mexico, Germans, the Wild West and the Deep South. You will be awed by its old world Spanish flair as we visit Old Missions, the Alamo, the Mercado, La Vallita and the world famous River Walk. To give you a taste of the German heritage, we take a trip through the Hill Country to Fredericksburg and visit the LBJ Ranch (formerly the ‘Texas White House’) and the Admiral Nimitz Museum. We’ll enjoy the Alamo, the Price of Freedom’ IMAX, and tour one of the United States’ most photographed attractions, the Alamo. Fiesta events included; Cavaliers River Parade, one of the most unique parades in the country with over 50 river barges decorated with lights, carrying live bands and costumed participants. ‘A Night in Old San Antonio’ when we wind our way through the outdoor carnival of food, dance and song in historic downtown village of La Villita. An evening of beauty when we attend the Coronation of the Queen of The Order of the Alamo with much pomp and circumstance as the Queen is crowned. We have reserved seats to cap off an eventful week of Fiesta at the largest parade of Fiesta — the Battle of Flowers Parade. Put on your cowboy boots and hat and let us show you San Antonio in the heart of Texas…Viva Fiesta!
